Both adult-appropriate and family-friendly, the lovely French House on Lordship Lane (Dulwich) has just opened another branch in Crystal Palace triangle.
We love it because... Who doesn't love a cheese-heavy menu?! The French-inspired dishes (including the delicious tartes flambees = cheese + bread) are super tasty, and they have an alcohol license if you're vising in the evening or without the kids.
We spotted... A really handy kids area in the Crystal Palace restaurant! The back room has a soft floor with a few toys and a small ball pit that's open Monday - Friday in the daytime. The lovely owner Audrey (read her interview with us here) has kids, so we can thank her for this! She also runs a French nursery rhymes group on Wednesdays in both the Crystal Palace (11am) and Dulwich (3pm) restaurants - check their Twitter page for weekly updates.
Top tip... They also have a small selection of deli items (French wine, delicious preserves) towards the back of the restaurant too.
