Treat your little ones to a trip over the river to Kensington for the Storytelling & Music Sessions (0-4 yrs) at Royal Albert Hall.
We love it because... It may be a fairly-normal half-hour music and story class that you already visit each week, but the new environment will be entertainment for curious toddlers, and you can combine your trip to this historic venue with a trip to Hyde Park or a day out in central London. You can also choose to take a child-friendly tour of the Hall after the class.
We spotted... One of our favourite musical storytellers - Becky from Nimble Tots - who was taking our class. The performers change each week, so you may get a cello, banjo, violin or spoken word performance, depending on who is running the session that week.
Top tip... Make the most of the journey and take a trip to the Princess Diana Memorial Playground in Hyde Park after the session. The event is ticketed (and usually sells out) so you need to book in advance, although it's only £5 which is good value for central London.
Facilities include... All the good stuff, like baby change and accessibility, you'd expect from a big venue.
