We tried and tested Mim's pilates class on the border of Honor Oak and Crofton Park. It's a post-natal mum and baby pilates class with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to get your baby involved!
We love it because... Mim's pilates classes have a relaxed atmosphere and there's no pressure for you or your baby to perform. If you need to sooth, feed or change your baby it's totally fine and you can get back involved with the pilates as soon as you're ready. The classes are held in a lovely light and spacious room in Crofton Park / Honour Oak, and Mims teaches with her adorable 9 month old at the front with her! You can choose how intense you make the pilates and can use it as a challenging workout, or take it a little easier if you only recently gave birth.
When to go... The post natal mother and baby pilates classes are on Mondays (11:45-12:45) and Thursdays (11:30-12:30) at St Hildas Church (SE4). Classes are £8 drop-in or £35 for 5 classes.
Top tip... Testament to the success of Mim's classes, they're popular! Make sure you book in advance by emailing (firstname.lastname@example.org) or getting in touch through her Facebook.
