Want a special treat to eat tonight without the stress of finding a babysitter? Burro e Salvia has a delicious range of fresh pasta to knock up your own Italian delight.
We love it because... It feels like a special treat and makes it so easy to throw together a simply delicious meal at home. Not only is it great for something special for you and your partner, but also a nice idea for a dinner party to impress your friends.
When to go... Burro e Salvia is often quiet, so there's no need to avoid any kind of rush. So far, we've only bought pasta to take home and cook so far but there is an option to eat in, with a modern Italian cafe feel inside and lovely patio seating outside which could be perfect for a lunchtime stop.
What's not so good... As you'd expect, the pasta is more expensive that you're average packet of dried Penne from the supermarket. We paid £6 for a generous portion for two people, but it's definitely worth it.
Top tip... Everything is so fresh it must be delicious! But from experience, the squid ink tagliatelle is amazing cooked super simply with prawns, garlic, chilli, olive oil and lemon juice. The verde gnocchi is another favourite!
