We love it because... It's small but perfectly formed! You can nip round in half an hour, or spend a day there if you want to enjoy the playgrounds and take a picnic.
We spotted... A mini playground for toddlers, as well as a larger one for older children, as well as water fountains to play in during the summer. There's also tennis courts, football pitches and a putting green. If you get peckish, there's a very unique food experience - Le Petit Bouchee - a quirky four-seater blue camper van converted into a French-style bistro. It's only open at weekends, and is understandably small, so you need to book in advance!
Top tip... Take in the scenery here as part of the Green Chain Walk, which links this park to acres of other hidden green spaces in South East London, stretching from Beckenham to the Nunhead or the Thames at Greenwich.
What's not so good.. Inexplicably, there's no baby change. And the main park 'cafe' seemed to be more of a burger van.
