We love it because... It was on our doorstep growing up, and now it's just a short drive or train journey away via Beckenham Junction station. There's lots of lovely cafes in Beckenham High Street too, if you wanted to make a day of it. There's also buggy fitness classes here on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10am.
Rupert, aged 4 months says... This is where I sleep best, because it's very peaceful and mum can walk around fast in the buggy on the smooth paths. There's also a big section where dogs aren't allowed, which is good because I think they're a bit scary.
Toddlers will love the... Playground. It's huge and certainly a step up from playgrounds we remember as children! They also have a bouncy castle there in the warmer months, plus a cafe, crazy golf, tennis courts and woodland trails for more adventurous little ones. If you're brave enough, you can even let little ones paddle in the water where there's a small stream near the Kelsey Park Road entrance.
Top tip... Beckenham Junction is just five minutes away, but there's plenty of free parking in the surrounding roads of Manor Way and Stone Park Avenue, with entrances to the park on all sides.
We spotted... Very over-friendly squirrels! They're so tame in here it's scary...
