Has your morning sickness finally subsided? When you're feeling up to it, there are loads of activities out there for mums to be. Pregnancy yoga is the perfect activity to couple with hypnobirthing, to boost the well being of both you and your new baby. We loved, pre-natal yoga at Gaia Studios in Peckham.
Why we love it... Having tried and tested a couple of different pregnancy yoga classes in SE15, this session provides the perfect balance of breathing and bonding with your baby with some fairly strenuous yoga. There are so many classes that are just breathing, but we really enjoyed actually feeling like we'd done some exercise afterwards too. Hana is also the most wonderful teacher and so so lovely to get to know throughout your pregnancy.
What's not so good... A sign of its success is that the pregnancy yoga classes do get booked up, so make sure you book in advance by emailing via the Gaia website. It's a fairly small studio so the capacity is limited, but that really does add to the intimacy of the class.
When to go... Check the Gaia Studio website for any updates on class timings. There's usually one class on a weekday evening and another at the weekend. The studio is also perfectly located very close to Bellenden Road.
