Who needs Jurassic Park? The other-worldly yet on-your-doorstep Crystal Palace Park features a unique dinosaur park, lots of green space, a seasonal farm and a small playground.
Pregnant women will love the.... workout. We spent hours hiking up the hills as a gentle workout once we were too hefty to get to the gym.
We love it because.... it's big enough to walk for hours with a buggy while your baby sleeps, and there's lots of secluded spots for feeding or nappy changing.
Charlotte, aged 3 says... I love the dinosaur lake and the waterfalls, and there's a bouncy castle near the playground in summer.
What's not so good... the baby change is pretty grim, as are the toilet facilities in general.
Top tip... avoid the run-down park cafe and head to Brown & Green in Crystal Palace Station on the west side of the park, for healthy juices, delicious brunches and sweet treats.

I set up family life in Peckham, where i live with my husband and son William. For us, maternity leave has been all about getting out and about exploring our new life as a family and checking out the best places locally and more centrally in London. Since pregnancy and following William’s natural birth, I’ve developed complete confidence in HypnoBirthing and I am keen to help more women have a comfortable and empowered birth using HypnoBirthing techniques.
