Escape the heat of the city in this glorious oasis of colour and nature, tucked away behind busy Penge high street.
We love it because... it looks beautiful! Wander round the rows of bright flowers or settle down on quirky garden furniture draped in retro blankets, before sampling a tipple from their huge range of herbal teas and one of their delicious home-baked cakes.
When to go... if the sun's out. There is indoor seating (also beautifully quirky) but it's upstairs and you'd struggle with a buggy. They also do outdoor BBQ brunch buns in the summer.
What's not so good... It can get quite busy and there's not much room around the clustered tables, so head there for afternoon tea or late morning coffee and avoid the lunchtime rush.
We spotted.... decadent salted caramel brownies and some irresistible homeware and gardening gifts in the shop.
